A Frustrating, Dismissive Experience That Cost Us Confidence in This Dealership We have been customers of Century BMW and returned recently expecting the same level of care you'd associate with a premium brand. What we received instead was a lesson in how not to treat loyal customers. The Background We brought our vehicle in after the check coolant level indicator appeared — the same issue we had addressed at this dealership just weeks prior. Given the history, we felt returning to Century BMW was the right call. What followed was a multi-day wait before receiving a diagnosis: a coolant system pressure test had revealed multiple leaks throughout the system. When we asked the natural question — is this covered under the previous repair? — we were told the new leaks were in a "different part" of the coolant system and therefore not covered. The estimated repair cost: $15,000. We declined and requested our vehicle be prepared for pickup. Where Things Got Worse Days passed before we were notified the car was ready. Upon arrival, the service team initially brought us the wrong vehicle. We then waited an additional 20 minutes before our car was finally brought out — at which point we discovered new damage to the vehicle. When we raised the damage with the service team, the response was not accountability. It was deflection: we were told they would not address the damage while the coolant system remained unrepaired. That is not a policy. That is an excuse. The Moment That Said Everything Our service advisor, Doug, offered us what he clearly intended as a helpful analogy — a story about a little boy and a toy train, where each time one piece was fixed, something else would break, and eventually it was simply time to move on. We appreciated the storytelling, Doug. But our vehicle is under 10 years old with under 100,000 miles. That analogy was not wisdom — it was a signal that the goal was to move us toward a new car purchase rather than to actually solve our problem. Empathy means meeting the customer where they are, not nudging them toward the outcome that's most convenient for the dealership. Our Assessment Throughout this process, Doug was consistently unhelpful, short, and condescending. There was little acknowledgment of our frustration, no genuine effort to explore solutions, and no accountability when damage was found on our vehicle at pickup. We are not asking for perfection. We are asking for what every BMW customer deserves: transparency, professionalism, and basic human respect. We would strongly encourage anyone considering Century BMW's service department to proceed with caution — and to document everything before and after every visit.

I had one of the most disappointing car shopping experiences I’ve ever had at Century West BMW. I reached out about potentially getting into an X5M because I’m unhappy with my current GLE63S lease. I provided my VIN and was completely transparent about my current payment of $2,314/month. After discussing options, I was called back and told there was an “amazing deal” on an XM — $1,680/month with $5,000 down. I specifically asked to confirm that this was the real out-the-door structure before coming in. I explained that my mom works until 3 p.m. and is exhausted after work, and I didn’t want to waste either of our time if the numbers weren’t accurate. I was assured that was the deal and encouraged to come in. When we arrived, the numbers presented were $2,680/month with $5,000 down — nowhere close to what was quoted. After going back and forth, the “best” offer became $2,499/month with $5,000 down at 10,000 miles per year. Then, after re-verifying payoff information that had already been provided, the payment jumped again to roughly $3,100/month. The justification given was that it was a 36-month lease versus my current 51-month lease. However, the entire reason for visiting was because we were told there was a significantly better and more affordable structure available. It felt like we were given unrealistic numbers just to get us into the dealership, only to be presented with something completely different once we arrived. That’s not how you build trust with customers — especially when dealing with high-end vehicles and serious buyers. I purchase and lease luxury vehicles regularly and value transparency. Unfortunately, this experience lacked it. Based on this interaction, I would look elsewhere, such as BMW of Calabasas or Rusnak BMW, before returning here. Very disappointing experience.

We have owned 7 BMW's over the past 30 years. Many of them purchased from Century West BMW. In the past year we have experienced severe rudeness and unhelpfulness from the service department. Later on that day I called several times to try to get a hold of Brian but no one there could transfer me to his direct line. I asked to be transferred to the service manager but all I got was their voicemail. After calling 5 or six times I was finally able to get the parts department on the phone where I found out the tire was never ordered. I was upset at the fact that Brian lied to me about ordering the tire. I was also upset at how he handed me the keys to my car which was parked in a tight spot instead of pulling my car forward like other bmw dealerships. Overall, the service is way below any other bmw dealership I’ve been to. Save yourself the headache and opt for any other bmw dealership. This place has horrible service.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Century West BMW through salesperson Fabie Dashti. Before completing the purchase, he acknowledged an existing problem with the car and clearly promised that the dealership would repair it. Unfortunately, that promise has not been honored. Since the purchase, I have contacted him multiple times by text and email (including on August 4, 2025) but received no proper response. After several follow-ups, I was told only that “the person in charge is not available” and that I “might have to bring the car in,” without any clear resolution. This shows a lack of accountability and professionalism. At this point, I no longer trust this dealership to handle the repair. I have requested that the cost of repair be covered directly at a Tesla authorized service center, since this is the only fair solution. A dealership of BMW’s reputation should not treat customers this way—ignoring messages, delaying responsibility, and failing to fulfill commitments made at the point of sale. I strongly caution other customers to be extremely careful when dealing with Century West BMW and with salesperson Fabie Dashti. Promises must be kept, and customers deserve honesty and respect.

I chose the more expensive option of enclosed / covered transport and learned just at the time of shipping that instead an open bed truck was transporting the vehicle; not what i had paid for. I assumed the dealership what make good on the extra paid amount and would refund the difference between the covered / enclosed shipping and the open bed shipping method. I was incorrect. Most of my calls to various staff at Century West dealership went unreturned. A refund check i received approx 6 weeks after my purchase was less than the difference between the 2 types of shipping. It took calls to BMW USA to receive some form of a response from the dealership. Despite this, Century West has indicated they consider this matter resolved and will not be refunding me the total amount due for the difference in the shipping methods. I would steer clear of this dealership in light of their unprofessional business practices.

Chris the service advisor was very helpful and accommodating providing a great loaner while the device was being done. They performed my first scheduled service visit, installed updates for a recall which included other updates solving an Apple CarPlay GPS drift issue and ordered a replacement part so all in all a great experience!

The people that work here are lovely… avoid BMW of BevHills at all cost. I’ve bought both my BMWs from BevHills and made the mistake of taking them in for service in the past, was the worst experience of my life, and I served in the US Navy during Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom. Century West employees are great… so much so that I drive here from WeHo for the exceptional service.

Service Advisor was off the day I picked up car. Had to chase the car down. No one seemed to own the situation. After I paid, I realized I had a $50 gift card. They would not allow me apply since "ticket was closed". It just laziness. Your telling me the transaction could not be modified 2 minutes later. That's the kind of thing that leaves a bad taste in people's mouth. After coming here for 15 years, I'll be going elsewhere.

The service department is an absolute joke. I'm not entirely sure where to start... do I start with when they rear-ended someone driving my car and kept it for almost 3 months? Or do I start with how they tell me they are working on the car but I have evidence they haven't touch it? I've had electrical issues with my car since I drove it off the lot and the service department's best skill is gaslighting. I have recorded evidence of the issues, I've brought the car in numerous times, and they hold firmly that nothing is wrong with the car and they are unable to duplicate the problem. Hilariously, these clowns have no idea that the BMW app shows the last time the car was locked, hood was open, etc. So when they are holding on to my car for over week at time like they recent did, I can see they didn't touch it since the day after it was dropped off. They also returned the car to me FILTHY like it had been sitting outside for a week. I recently brought my car in because it malfunctioned in over 100 degree heat, the malfunction made the car UN-DRIVABLE. I called the dealership as it was happening and spoke to Luis. On the phone with him I made an appointment for a few days later, which was the earliest they had an appointment with a loaner car available. There was no sense of urgency whatsoever. 10 days later they told me they "changed the key battery and topped up the fluids" Meanwhile, my car had just been in for it's annual service 1 week before THIS incident happened. They then said they couldn't find any malfunction, and everything is fine. They were also unable to show me any evidence of the test they ran on it outside of the 5 point inspection showing me my wheels and brakes. They also told me they topped up the fluids and when I asked why they needed to be topped up, they admitted to lying about the fluids and in fact they did not do that. They supposedly checked the tire pressure but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt they didn't because if they did, they are completely incompetent, the pressure was totally lopsided. Another favorite is when they "explained" to me that when it's hot outside the car doesn't work properly... a $90k car doesn't work in the heat apparently. Side note, while the service department had my car, I called and left multiple messages to check the status and was never called back, never communicated with in any way whatsoever, until they told me to pick up my car. This service team is a joke, this car is a joke, this dealership is scam. Do not work with these people.

It took almost 2 weeks for the repair eventually i was told it was because the part wasn’t available . I was never offered a loaner car. The rep didn’t suggest I take my car back and wait for the part to arrive. I spent a lot of money on Ubers until the repair was finally completed.

Poor communication. General organization is not what I would expect. Very inflated prices. What they do, attitude, communication, service, against what the total cost does not match. You pay for premium but basically get average service. Side note, the video inspection of the car is good. I like that.

I am about to lease my 3rd BMW, and will NOT be considering Century West. Now they want me to renew lease with them...hahahaha. We get there to have a part replaced to our new X 6 and we paid. While waiting on the part to be replaced, I asked the receptionist if anyone could help us with getting a new “BMW” ultimate benefits card. Everyone in suits are just standing with their hands in their pockets. And the. Receptionist tell this one guy about what we want ?! And he send me a young man, who I told him what we wanted and he went back to tell this guy that he doesn’t know about our inquiry. So I started a conversation with this guy. Hand in the pocket and chewing gum the whole time I’m talking to him. Telling me the young man he sent to me was a genius. I told him apparently not, and it’s clear he doesn’t understand what’s BMW ultimate benefits card is!!!! And he thought it’s a credit card. This xxx hole merit badge earned is Salar Sharikandi who claimed he’s the General Manager of the BMW Century West. And threatened me and my fiancée to call the cops if we don’t leave the property. I told him you’re representing BMW and this is not appropriate. And you shouldn’t send me a junior guy who he thinks is a BMW genius and apparently he doesn’t even know and acknowledged the simple fact of what’s a BMW Ultimate benefits card is ! So yelling and screaming and telling us you have to leave or I will call the cops. Such a great way to meet and greet your loyal customers and it’s the obvious in the treatment that if you’re there at the dealership not buying then screw you and we’re giving you an attitude. The V.P General Manager is Milo Rosas NOT this idiot Salar Sharikandi who claimed he’s the general manager. Hands in the pockets and chewing gum. BMW have high standards and it’s so unfortunate that you have such characters representing the brand. And telling loyal customers to get the “F” out or they will call the cops. You need to teach these guys to respect their customers and business it’s not about wearing a suit. It’s about ethics and protocol and how to present yourself that you’re presenting a brand. And don’t tell lies claiming you’re the general manager while you’re the pre- owned sales director. And you should have class and teach your employees about Etiquette & Manners - Protocols. I called the dealership and they told me that Milo Rosas is on vacation. I will file a complaint with BMW and the Better Business Bureaus.
